no  mate as long as they are still going well around the loft hopefully a few tosses next week, jump them ,have they raced as youngsters?

Do you have any comeback races Kirky?

If so i would consider training well and slip them into them.

I will miss this week which is 68 miles and try and get them trained for 112 miles the week after.

yes your right kevin im not  scared to jump them , i would rather do that than throw them away in silly wee blow homes ,because you can and will lose pigeons when there east in the wind.

I would definately want them trained and fit before sending to a race. Get them ready with as many trainers as possible before sending. The weather this weekend does not look good it may be better next week. If they are fit the extra 30 miles or so wont make much difference to them. Good luck in whatever you decide as at the end of the day you need to make the decision.

Train then 50 milers next week, and should be more than fine.

I'm in the same boat mate.I managed to get one trainer in at 20 mile due to personel reason's(bloody weather has been great as well).Ive only a team of 11 widowhood cocks i was gonna pick 3 to send and see what happen's.Hens will be used later in the season.

do as much training between now up to including wednesday. building up to a 50 miler on wednesday. then drop them in to your next race .i would not take the chance with no training.regardless of whether .just my view. best of luck with your decision
