retired Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 Do you have any comeback races Kirky? If so i would consider training well and slip them into them. I will miss this week which is 68 miles and try and get them trained for 112 miles the week after.

hotrod Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 yes your right kevin im not scared to jump them , i would rather do that than throw them away in silly wee blow homes ,because you can and will lose pigeons when there east in the wind.

Blue Chequer Pied Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 I would definately want them trained and fit before sending to a race. Get them ready with as many trainers as possible before sending. The weather this weekend does not look good it may be better next week. If they are fit the extra 30 miles or so wont make much difference to them. Good luck in whatever you decide as at the end of the day you need to make the decision. Paul.

blaz Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 do as much training between now up to including wednesday. building up to a 50 miler on wednesday. then drop them in to your next race .i would not take the chance with no training.regardless of whether .just my view. best of luck with your decision
