I'll second that ;D Well done mate, 5th is not a joke, there are many old hands today struggling to get 5th. Keep working at it and I'm sure you'll climb the ladder... but enjoy your birds we all want to win but I get so much pleasure sitting at my loft with them if I get one 5th this season I'll stil love my pigeons.

im just letting people know that in my first ever old bird race i was 5th today out off alot of birds in cabra rpc ... one of the strongest clubs in dublin no doubt !!!! i was delighted ...i also sent 9 cocks and got the full 9 back ... great result and id like to thank simon toon ( jstoon ) for all the hard work in getting me there ...much appreciated simon ... best thing out of it was i bred the bird myself !!!!! even better again hey !!!! just keeping people updated !!!! mikey - dublin ... great result from t o brien 2 nd , 6th , 7th , 10 th .. very well done to terrence ....and also to  k hughes for winning today ... terrance as people will know is a prolific flier .... no danger there as he has won the miller gold cup and opens all over .... he a phoenominal flier and always will be .... mikey

5th from 800 1st old bird race new to sport with little trainning. he might be new to this but i bet he knows a BAD APPLE when he sees one . not a bad start for someone in 1st old bird race in fact not a bad start to anyones old bird season weldone. some feds dont have 800 birds when the season gets further out.
