There is always something to pick at mate, just watch they dont bring anything back into the loft and destroy the other birds.

 

Eye if you come and pick ma birds up for me, the wife has ma car at her work.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Well man, you really are risking it. Slugs and woodlice carry worms. Wild birds carry all sorts of nasty things.

Then there is the risk of sprays.

Use fresh grit and minerals. Make sure it is changed regularly. Clay blocks help. And cut the food down.

I'd say increase it - they're not being fed enough

Mine don't go fielding - the 'fields' are full of new houses nobody wants to buy

be more worried about poisoning if farmer plants a crop the seeds are died with a germination die which is toxic and could poison the birds

get youself some matrix everthing in that mate,,birds should either be in sky or loft,to many things they can pick up in the fields with what farmers spray on the fields.

never thought about it too much but i do have fields all around me now so its become something to think about.

 

A friend swears by freshly dig mole hills to stop the fielding as they apparently contain alot of the good minerals from the ground.

also fire a rocket over top of them
