PIGEON2009
Can anybody recommend a 2in1 or 3in1 preventative please for Cocci, Canker and resp?
Tony C
I think you’d do better to treat individually, forget about these 2/3 in 1 treatments. Lets say your pigeons have canker, the chances are they’ll have a cocci problem too. A pigeon under the weather or under undue stress will have a higher than normal cocci count, treat the initial problem and the cocci count will decrease naturally. REDCHEQHEN
I don't think you can get an 'all in one' to do the three you mentioned, respiratory I would have thought would have to be done on its own anyway and wouldn't have thought it would be something you could treat to prevent

Guest youngzimmy
IN MY HUMBLE OPINION THERE ARE TO MANY DRUGS BEING STUFFED DOWN BIRDS NECKS WHETHER THEY NEED THEM OR NOT THE BIRD FROM BIRTH HAS NO CHANCE OF BUILDING UP ANY NATURAL IMUNITY BACK IN THE SIXTYS BIRDS WERE A LOT HEALTHIER PROBABLY BECAUSE THERE WAS NOT SO MUCH OF THAT DRUG CRAP GOING ABOUT KNOW IT APPEARS THE BIRDS NATURAL IMUNITY IS SO WEAK THEY DEPEND ON ALL THAT CRAP
pjc
The only multiple one my neighbour has used with his youngsters is FMT Allround Mix from DAC pharmasuticals. It does canker (trichomoniasis, hexamitiasis), paratyphoid, E-coli, and bacterial infections. The birds were bouncing after he used it. It contains Furaltadone HCI 12%, Metronidazol 20% and Chloortetracycline HCI 10%

If you're gonna treat. Treat one week apart, Cocci, Kanker, Worms. Four weekly cycle for the first two and six weekly for worms. You should then find the birds wont be too troubled with respiratory. There again you can't get a cure for the common cold in humans why pigeons ?
