Last night some so called pigeon racers decided to come and take my  team of old birds,22 in total plus my dropper

all sitting latebreds which now have had to be disposed of.

i dont suppose they will do them any good with them if they cant fly there own and do any good they must be crap flyers,and have to resort to this type of theft.

if they had approached me i would gladly have given them birds and advice to go with it.

now i have 15 yrs worth of breeding knocked back.

the stock birds are not kept at the race loft so are safe thank god.

below are the ring numbers of birds taken just by remote chance anyone gets offered any

there is a £1000 reward for the tw*ts that done this.

Sorry to hear about this mate .What can one say,had my lofts broken into some 20 years ago, heart breaking.They didn't take the birds they killed them and threw them on the garden.If you want I can put your post on another couple of sites for you.Lindsay

Only ask as hear so much of it now from allotments that i dont know how people carry on.

 

Think the days of leaving your lofts unlocked and without lights, even cameras is long gone now.

Sorry to hear about the scum British Homing World today and it reports that a young fancier Shaun Kaye 14 year old had started up with Slaithwaite Fying Club in the Pennine Valleys Federation, he had gathered together 17 young birds that he had managed to get tame, when some low life ripped the door of the shed and stole all his birds. It was discovered that a local druggie was responsible and had cut the rings off and sold the birds at the local livestock auctions for £1.30 each.
