If someone steals a ring with the view for using it the UNIKON club system will report the loft number of the original owner when the ring is assigned. The club should make a note of the loft number and question the person as to the rings origin. This should be a warning to anyone thinking of stealing the Green UNIKON rings You will get found out!
JADE Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 As far as I know ETS rings have your loft number put onto them when they are first assigned and this can not be changed. it can be changed. personally i wouldnt take a ring off but some of you seem more concerned with the ring than the bird.
sapper756 Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 As far as I know ETS rings have your loft number put onto them when they are first assigned and this can not be changed. you can change them when reassigning, it asks you if you want to store the loft no, :-/ also people are selling them 2nd hand, so you have to be able to reassign and change the loft no. :-/ but then again, it,s upto secretaries/ ets clock setters to check this out.
alex wight Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 I got my first bird back in the stray basket, complete with ets ring. So a big thanks to the person who gave this pigeon a second chance, and being a true fancier, not a thief.
alex wight Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 just superglue them on Thats what i do to.
cemetary Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 just superglue them on Paul, people who have the ets shouldnt have to take any further meausures like superglue the ring to the bird, if people would just leave the ring on the bird, it dosent belong to them.
cemetary Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 Thats what i do to. Thats because your tight,

tskyes Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 NOT BEING FUNNY BUT IF YOUR BIRDS HAVE HAD ENOUGH TRAINING THEN THEY DONT HAVE TO VISIT OTHER PEOPLES LOFTS THUS GIVIN THEM THE CHANCE TO STEAL YOUR RINGS SO THEREFORE THE BLAME GOES TO YOURSELFS !
Guest spin cycle Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 why not put tel. no stickers on the rings. ok so they can be peeled off/ cleaned with effort...but its a detterent.
