Guest Gareth Rankin Posted August 24, 2009 Report Posted August 24, 2009 Have assisted Frank-123 by speaking with Colin Craven the President of the Yorkshire North Road Fed in arranging a Scottish Stray basket at each of there 16 clubs this Friday which he has kindly agreed to do and over the next 24 hours he is going to contact each of theses club secretary's. All we would ask of any Yorkshire man is to pass the word to members of your organisation or any organisation nearby to bring not just Lanarkshire pigeons to club marking but all Scottish Feds. As many will know by now Lanarkshire federation has experienced the worst race in its history with 4000 birds still missing from an entry of 5000 many of these have been reported around Yorkshire. Whether it only a dozen or 200 it will have been a worthwhile exercise as at present many fanciers have very little pigeons for the 2010 season. cheers Gareth PS Big thanks to the Yorkshire North Road Convoyer Tony Meek who is willing to bring the pigeons to Dunbar at no cost even when pressurised to put a charge on each pigeon, Gentleman
cemetary Posted August 24, 2009 Report Posted August 24, 2009 Well done Gareth, hope they get the birds back to the fanciers, well put.
