It's human nature and will never change we all do it, but when it is raised constantly surely you should at least take account and do something about it if it affects people not just ignore it, delete it and hope it goes unoticed till the next time :-/

That is the main stay of this site, have you noticed that the high majority of members never post they keep in contact through the site in private messages as I do most of the time :-/

thats what ive been doing logg on read messages reply and logg off not really worth posting

most get deleted you dont get to see what people put up, you only get half the post

I dont think thats because of the mods or admin that they dont post, unfortunately theres to much rubbish being posted on this site and i think its right that they tidy it up, some of the answers in this thread is a prime example of this, keep it relevant and if you dont like it dont post, its as simple as that.

Rules are rules if you have rules you should stick to them one and all the minute you let one rule or one person break any rule you may as well not have any rules there and I HAVE SEEN on here certain members break rules and nothing done but others break the same rule and they are suspended or put of the site Now if that is not one set of rules for some and another set for others i dont know what is

Please give me an example maverick mate? I treat everyone the same. For example, im sure he wont mind me saying, But i get on brilliantly with alan (black w/f) but some of his posts in the past have been close to the wind, and i have gave him warnings about his conduct, And he accepted them. Some people just dont like being given a friendly warning and rebel, And try and make a point of it too! At the end of the day everyone should read the rules when they join up, if they dont want to abide by the rules, then dont join up.

 

And maverick, sometimes mate, i accept things do get missed, by me and other mods, we are only human believe it or not  ;D. As some posts do get swallowed up, And we cant  be on here 24/7, but if you do see something you are not happy with then please feel free to contact me, And i assure you 110% it will be dealt with. Thanks

i think members need to understand that the site itself cannot be blamed.

the mods each have their own view of whats right for the site and whats not right.

its up to the individual thats moderating at the time.

just like a premiership referee in football....how many times do you see one ref book someone for summut and another not.. for the same offence.

 

we musnt tar every mod with the same brush ,and another thing..none of us own this site so we are just on here as guests who contribute to the site with posts and information.

this thread was headed...constructive criticism/ideaswe have to understand then that snide remarks is not what the heading suggested,although i understand that some members have been treated different to others, this must be addressed by richard.

on the whole in my opinion this is a good site and if it wasnt none of you would be regulars on here...fact!

we can sometimes add to our own downfall and contibute to make matters worst.

so if the heading of this thread is to be adhered too, then it should remain constructive and not negative to the point of argumentive. jmo

The post on chris maidment not to long ago was left to run even thou he was a BANNED MEMBER and not having a go at CHRIS

fed up reading posts about mods on this site if your genuinely upset with a mod contact the admin via pm then we don't need to see every post hijacked with your bleating comments

I am not complaining about MODS like you sick of people hijaking threads and breaking rules but some seem to get away with it others dont would just like to see a more even playing field for all not just some

Do you know what Scotomas are? Everyone has them and they can keep you from seeing the opportunities all around you.

 

So what, exactly, is a "Scotoma?" It's what doctors call the defect that blocks sight in one part of our visual field. It's also a term I use to describe our occasional failure to see what's right in front of us because we build our own Scotoma, or mental blind spot, to it.

 

You see for the most part, we see what we expect to see or what we look for, not what is really there. What we expect to see is determined by our beliefs about reality. If we believe the world is a hostile, unfriendly place, we'll see evidence to support that belief everywhere we look. But if we believe people are basically good and that the world is a supportive, friendly place, that's what we'll see and experience.

 

Now, our beliefs are mostly a matter of how we have been conditioned since birth. But once we become adults, it is possible to become aware of our conditioning, our belief systems, and even our Scotomas.

 

We can choose to expand our consciousness, remove our blind spots, and adopt beliefs that will help us grow instead of clinging to expectations and attitudes that keep us suspicious and small. By the simple act of making this choice, we actually start the wheels of a better future turning.

 

And by the daily affirmation of goals that support our commitment, we become top-notch Scotoma Busters, and then we really start to grow!

 

If everyone didn't have blind spots just maybe you could all work together to make it a better sport for all to enjoy !
