flyingteessider Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 Dont buy from to many lofts
No 1 Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 Go and see Ronnie Williamson, you can buy kits for racing, aprox £300 - £360 for six, Ronnie has the best pigeons in your neck of the woods, dont forget this, good pigeons are cheap, its the bad ones that are expensive !!!!!!!!! Good luck, hope all goes well.
Guest mick bowler Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 Ron go to a good winning loft and buy latebreds from there best racers, theres quite a few around now so be quick, also i'm running a sale of top class latebreds for cancer charities at the moment.
Roland Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 Find a decent fancier and - preferable out of your radious - and beg a few latebreds. Then from same sauce have some youngsters bred from him also. race just the y/b season through. Lightly train the latebreds with the odd chuck in good weather till say Xmas. After nesting, a couple of short races only till year after where they will really hold their own. It's as easy to lose good expensive birds as it is from a genuine decent fancier, in fact a darn site easier.
Guest Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 Firstly find out the fanciers you can trust,as there are many sh-t heads about that will lead you up the garden path .
ron123 Posted September 16, 2009 Author Report Posted September 16, 2009 sounds good will take note of above next year cant come quick enough ;D

Tony C Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 I believe nowadays with many fanciers racing their youngsters on the darkness an opportunity had arisen. In the past the 3rd round youngsters from their stock would have supplemented their race team, now as they'll be to late to put on the darkness fanciers are instead selling these. To late for the darkness but not to late if you want to fly them natural. My advise would be look to buy these 3rd round youngsters from their stock.
ron123 Posted September 16, 2009 Author Report Posted September 16, 2009 thanks all very good advise i must say and this site is a credit to help new starters and to get to know people cheeeeeeeeeeers
