Iam looking for a large map of britain and northern france the british homing world used to do them but not any more.Does anyone know where i might get one.?

google maps but longitude and lattitude is a mile off says my loft is in my mates backgarden two door down.

i did not mean google maps i mean put ordnance survey maps in google and see what it comes up with or maps of  britain iv had a look and theress plenty maps for sale

A company called Scotcard do them 0141 639 7746 also Chart Meadia 01 282 843 304  they are 24"x 16"

bet  you my lost dollar the google long and lat  is not wrong   , but your measurments may well be

Might be worth checking what format the lat/long is, it could be decimal or imperial (minutes/ seconds etc) this would give an error.

try wh smiths in hamilton they have a large selection of maps
