as i started the thread on over crowding at Blackpool. i would like to start this one on what member thought was some of the best stalls that had birds for sale. so credit can be given to the men and women who put time effort and know how in to getting their birds looking top notch for Blackpool

tumley loft's and frank taskers birds was spot on gary there was a good few stalls with crackers on show but tumleys and franks stick out for me

Best stall selling birds within the Winter Gardens for me was Maddison and Souderland.

Have to agree Gareth, they too impressed me a lot :)

 

Opposite the Linnel stand.

Have to say that in my view the best stands for layout, welfare of birds and condition of birds from a  "through the wires" point of view were Frank Taskers and Maddison and Soderland. A credit to the hobby/sport. There were other good stands, but these 2 stood out for me.

Best if you looked at results in British Homing World for 2009 and make your own mind up. Who has the best is purely a personal choice. I am sure there will be many who answer your question and give many different names.

We got there just after 10 on the saturday didnt we Bob, And what was the stall as we went in? And all there jan aardens had sold out already? That tells me which were the best birds

You could do a lot worse than look at the British Barcelona Stud. It aint a profit making organisation ( Profits for club funds ) They are all bred from members top birds. Bought a little hen myself bred from NFC Pau winner and BBC Palamos winner.

This is off topic for this thread, but if you are talking about the stall that had the crates crammed full of birds and piled high, then those birds had no pedigrees, no transfers, rings that were tampered with and the guy is no more than a feather merchant.

If you go onto the differant sites ie. NFC,BICC,BBC,CSCFC,MNFC,MCC,UNC,they usually do write ups of the winners and there may be photo,s on there of the winners of the big races but dont think there is a specific catalogue of the winners only ones that some organisations put out in their handbook.

bob it was no hoax  all old birds where sold and his first 3 rounds of y/bs are sold out  probally the lot by now  theres a lot of guys with good resultsfrom his birds   ;) ;D ;D ;D  and thats the truth no bull
