leg rings ?

I see in BHW there is an ad for leg rings with your phone no on it, would this be a good idea for my new birds before they go out for the first time ?  :-/

They are a handy 'visual' ID for your birds when they are outside, especially if you choose your colour well, as you will be in no doubt that it is your pigeon you are seeing, while another bird might look like very like one of yours but if its wearing another colour, or not wearing a ring, you will know right away that it isn't yours.

i use them on my birds,lost 4 got 1 call.

yes m8,some people put these on as well as stamping the wings.

But as said before best to have something incase they disappear

they get reported quicker

also wing stamp with miss ----- you will be suprised how many guys will ring just because it says miss

I used to get mine from B&R but decided to use AC Hughes dont have to wait months for the delivery

dave if people get your birds in and want to keep them they will regardless of phone number on leg or wing stamp i payed good money for 6 last week put ring numbers on lost 1 on sunday have not heard a peep since

yes i think you definetly need marker phone nos rings for reasons that you will notice any strays that light on your loft as well as getting a phone call if you have lost any babies
