Please can anyone with experience in pigeon eye sign let me know if this is a breeding eye, racing eye etc.

Personally I'd say a racing eye. Mind, though have been told and have read a lot, I don't put any store to it personally.

Thanks for the comments, I got him to breed off he’s 9 years old and only ever been stock. His dam is Playgirl and he sire is a full brother to Toyboy and he is breed by Bert Hession. Thanks also for the comments on the photo’s it’s my first attempt.

each to there own but put a picture of a tumblers eye up and ask your eyesign specialist to analyse that intresting wot answer you'd get

defo dual purpose not the best ive seen but with right hen who knows the hens eye doesnt suit him too close JMO.

I would say it's a duel purpose eye, pair it to the other bird if nothing better in loft.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am not really into eye sign myself but it is another angle to try.

The hen is off Toey's fantastic and Reflection bread by Tony Mardon. I thought they may me a good pairing!

   i got the camera model wrong, the camera i used was aFuji finepix S5600 with the macro on.

                    i did not use anything special i just held the pigeon outside in the sunlight pointed the camera at the eye and took the picture.

It seemed to work ok

Not sure what he said in the Pictorial but he knows something about eyesign  what ever it was, as he picked out my pigeon in a class of 90 birds and  placed it 1st,this pigeon as taken cards all over the country.
