Ross on Wye club no longer exists so time out to fly his birds please at least keep it to some balance common sense

I am not against the club which is why i did not use their name and why i said that there are some genuine members in it. I wanted to discuss the merrits of whether it was right to refuse someone because they did not have ets.

noone states its okay to single out a person applying to join a club nor is it okay for that club to turn down a person because they have no ets nor should any person be forced to buy ets just to become a member ????but if a club turns down a member and someone claims they have been turned down for unreasonable points ie no ets then thats out of order the same as a member who resigned??? takeing a stance against a club because his freind could not join now i know phil and he would accept his refusal and would not be causeing a problem ???????re region or rpra or showing club up

i know, but thats the really sad thing. It should be 100% yes all the time. I never had any issues joining my tri club as i said already or my running club or any other sports club that i have been invovled in so why does pigeon racing bring out the worst in people?

because everyone of us have a different view on things from the word go ??  take your job you all agree on each and everything you do you must cover each other ?? in pigeons you are basically at odds with each other even if the best of mates ? hence the sport will die as we cannot agree on anything that would benefit us all

There may not be any rule which says a club can stipulate ETS only.  However, if nobody is capable of, or willing to set manual clocks, the options available are surely limited to ETS only, and without breaking any rules.

I haven't read through all this yet so I'm probably going to cover some old ground.If the so called all ETS club received their ETS's through a lottery grant I thought one of the stipulations which must be stated in the application form was OPEN TO ALL NEW MEMBERS.Am I right or Wrong ?

Our Fed did away with Radious's a long time back .... Think the RPRA have also.

Likewise you can't open a 'Invitation Club'! But that doesn't stop me have a few friend open a club within the rules of course, privately having a 'Cartel' between us saying ET clocks only will be acceptable, or voted in on their application. However once a member they then come under the Union rules .... But if all state plainly the can't, or ar not prepared to do T3 etc. etc. then tat is the end of that! Or until there is enoughg votes to change it, or some become prepared to set manual clocks.

Mark jones (superstar) feeding information to chris maidment (thunderbird) to try and show me up or belittle me is a waste of time. It is a simple subject asking two simple questions. Mike, I am not Mark Jones (thought you was making this anonymous so why drag Mark into this)  I am Linda as my name states I do not hide behind a name.  As for me not posting for a long time your right, after all I did have a heart attack and it makes you realise that life is for living and not sitting at a computer screen and bickering.  

 

To be honest, after reading your posts in this thread I believe that you owe Mark an apology as not one has he uttered a word, or put words into peoples mouths.
