Guest Grasshopper Lofts Posted May 11, 2009 Report Posted May 11, 2009 Just looking at these bestards on the cam, the young are getting fed a pigeon with a red ring on its leg, clear as day. is that a green ring on the ground to the right of percy
Bilco Posted May 11, 2009 Report Posted May 11, 2009 There's definitely four live YBs in that nest. That means at least 100 pigeons will be killed and fed to them over the next six weeks, and the Derby Peregrine lovers are brandishing them under your noses and saying "Look what we got, and there's nowt you can do about it . . ."
Guest bigda Posted May 11, 2009 Report Posted May 11, 2009 Just looking at these bestards on the cam, the young are getting fed a pigeon with a red ring on its leg, clear as day. maybe more 3 a day x 7=21x 6= 126 and that's just one nest in that area, there are probably 6 nest within the area = 756 pigeons every 6 weeks and none of them streeters as they will not go for them as the streeters dont fly long enough to be noticed, the sparrowhawk might feast on them but percy wont risk it as the steeter will fly through gaps in the brick work :-/
cemetary Posted May 11, 2009 Report Posted May 11, 2009 The streeters never seem to fly high enough for percy to have a strike at.
PATTY BHOY Posted May 11, 2009 Report Posted May 11, 2009 can someone not get up there and give them a little tonic ;D ;D ;D antifreeze sauce on their rats.
