david Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 A very articulate post Stuart ..and long overdue. Charity begins at home . DAVID
pjc Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 Chris if you recall, a while ago i posted an e-mail to the BHW asking if a page could be given over to questions from the members for the RPRA to answer. I was told it would be brought up at the next meeting with the intention of these types of questions being answered directly by Mr Bills etc. Don't think bombardment will achieve anything!

Guest Owen Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 Stuart well done. I wish I had thought of it. Perhaps the rest of us should follow your lead and do the same in an attempt to mount more pressure.
Guest numpty01 Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 stuart sent a top class decent letter to the manager of rpra and asked pertinant question that indeed must be answered but to then bombard bhw and mr bills is going the wrong way ????my view
Guest Paulo Posted July 19, 2009 Report Posted July 19, 2009 good letter shame they didn't give you a decent reply
pigeonpete Posted July 19, 2009 Report Posted July 19, 2009 good letter shame they didn't give you a decent reply Just read the letter, But what a waist of time im afraid!!! what sort of answer was it??? Never gave an answer in my opinion. :-(
Novice Posted July 19, 2009 Report Posted July 19, 2009 Just read the letter, But what a waist of time im afraid!!! what sort of answer was it??? Never gave an answer in my opinion. :-( Perhaps that is what we should follow up now---the comments of David Bills. We have donated thousands to charity and it has not improved our image one bit. We are still deemed the lowest of the low. Even doubling the donations to charity will never raise our image from where Jack Duckworth put us. Albeit he has a great deal of assistance from ourselves.
pjc Posted July 19, 2009 Report Posted July 19, 2009 When these donations are made where are the majority of the photo's and article published? In the BHW! What publicity does that give the sport telling its own members how wonderfull the RPRA are!
Guest IB Posted July 19, 2009 Report Posted July 19, 2009 Well they did answer Stuart's letter, though maybe not in the way many could agree with. I'd like to see more postive support from the beneficiaries though. We do need friends that can bite a few ears for us.
Guest Paulo Posted July 19, 2009 Report Posted July 19, 2009 problem is with the RPRA and possibly the NEHU too is its all jobs for the boys. A man who has never kept pigeons is the best canditate for the job out of all the pigeon fanciers in the Uk some of whom will be professional people. People have a cloth and cap image of the sport but there are some very professional people who keep them. Steven Meadows is a solicator for example. I'm a building surveyor and I bet we have all sorts of people with good careers and backgrounds. The RPRA seems to heavily favour ex army and air force officers. I work with both current and ex military people in the job i do now and while there are very capable people there are also som e right plonkers same as anywhere. Stuart makes some excellent points in his letter and none of them are addressed in a proper fashion. Bills would make a great MP.
greenlands Posted July 19, 2009 Report Posted July 19, 2009 Did anyone get a reply to their email??????????????????????????? thought so.Lindsay.
Guest Posted July 19, 2009 Report Posted July 19, 2009 There were comments here that there was a reply given and that it was not a good one but I can't see one and never got one. :-/
