pjc Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 they are getting hungry and will try to get food whereever they can!
micci Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 Used to hunt them with terriers and lurchers a few years back, health wont allow me to nowadays, and am well fenced of, if ever one got in the back garden it wouldn't get in twice
Roland Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 Looks in great fettle. Shouild have a vixe in tow too. Best left alone I believe as if can't get at yours then no harm. If could, then that would be a different proposition I guess. The 'Townie Foxes' soon look like Ferals. Skinny and poor coatings etc.

Roland Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 I'd have sent that to the big fox run in the sky... Why? :-/
owen101 Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 i must say i would not send it to fox heaven as we would be dis heartened if someone killed one of our pigeons all animals should be treated the same but percy takes it too far JMO
Guest JonesyBhoy Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 Why? :-/ They can do a fair bit of damage given half a chance... I had one, started coming to my loft when i was young and had them in the garden (stay next to a golf course) and it scared the sh** out the doos... Ironically enough its still in the garden.. under ma dads cabbage..
Guest stb- Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 I'd have sent that to the big fox run in the sky... like this
gulkie Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 He'd need a good ladder to reach mine watched one sat night on top of my garage, then walk of along the top of a six foot fence for about 40 yards ,they dont need ladders .all they need is a piece of lead in the ear. ;)
Guest JonesyBhoy Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 Aye.. Then the week after that.. i had a huuuuuge feral cat and all her litter decided to start visting the loft.. Her and her 7 weans are under the carrots..

DOVEScot Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 we have them in the woods around us but touch wood they seem to keep away, saying that they will eat their way through most things to get to their prey. If one appeared on our property i would deal with it

If one appeared on our property i would deal with it yip have loads here to , but one night a vixen decided it would chew the weatherboard of the bottom boards on the lost . chewed a bit then ripped the 2 1/2" ringshank nail out and releived me off 100 ybs , killed the lot and left a trail of dead birds for half mile. put ply round the lofts over the weather board and thefollowing year bassas ripped my sputnik to peices and wipped out all my old bird racers , glad my stock loft was brick :o
