cemetary Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 If i had a kestrel it would be trained on pigeons theres no fun in hunting mice and voles And they dont normally attack pigeons. But they will if they have to. Thats you aff the xmas list, bye bye, :( :(
greenlands Posted February 6, 2010 Author Report Posted February 6, 2010 There's been a hawk round my place for about three year,it looks like a kestrel hovers like a kestrel but about twice the size of a kestrel ,the pigeons never even look at it and better still it doesn't look at the pigeons. The one in the video to my eyes is too big for a kestrel ??. Lindsay

sammy Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 If kestrels dont attack pigeons. What is that one doing. doing what its irrasponsible owner has taught and if your a pigeon fancier why are you in defence of this ?????
DOVEScot Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 If kestrels dont attack pigeons. What is that one doing. Kestrels are imprinted and only learn what their parents teach them(human in this case) I would even go as far as saying the pigeon was on a tether string and he had to hold it down once caught for the Kestrel to make the kill :-/
DOVEScot Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Thought youtube had a 'report video' complaint feature, don't see it on this link. Rspca is an international organisation and I'd expect its equivalent in that country would be interested in seeing that video. I think you have to have an account and sign in to raise a complaint on you tube:-/
cemetary Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 I think you have to have an account and sign in to raise a complaint on you tube:-/ Even though you have an account with them Duncan, where will the complaint go, :-/ NOWHERE,
DOVEScot Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Even though you have an account with them Duncan, where will the complaint go, :-/ NOWHERE, Well in none of us do then why bother at all voicing a concern :-/ :-/ :-/
Guest Glen Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 The pigeon is fastened to a piece of fishing line, the guy boasts about in the print below the video. Sickening training them to kill pigeons.

catchthepigeon Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 doing what its irrasponsible owner has taught and if your a pigeon fancier why are you in defence of this ????? In defence of what.Im pointing out what i see on the video. It is a kestrel attacking pigeon.
