Well as pigeon fanciers we all have dreams at the begining of the season, the seasone hasn't started and it looks like mines over.Let the birds out at there usual time, exercising very well as they have been, four in the loft sittng and sixteen going like hell.Got them cleaned out done the stock water etc. and made a cup of coffee to settle and watch the birds enjoying the sky.Sitting in front of the loft when a black pied cock bounced off the drinker water evreywhere, not a feather in the sky.FFFFFFFf********SSSSS.

After a further two cups of coffee,I'm upto eight, looking on the worst side of things I begun to think where can I move the youngen to,they started to drop in ones which gave me hope.Jim Ramsey cock dropped at my feet covered in blood.Sitting looking down the garden from my living room window thinking this can't continue. After two and a half hour I've 30% of my race team missing and young birds not covered.

I think this will be my last season after sixty years in pigeons.

Thank you the RPRA for doing something about BOP.

Thank you the RSPB,please come knocking on my door I'll do time for you.

My mate y/b's just started to kit up yesterday and hawk went straight into them and they flew everyway into trees houses etc at nightfall 10 down from 38 and no more by 8 o'clock this morning. and 28 very scared babies in the loft which will take weeks to get their confidence back.

Its getting worse all the time, beyond a joke when you can't even let the birds excercise without being in constant fear of attack!

Hope more return for you then lock them up for a couple of days to get them settled.

Hi Lindsay C.

Sorry to hear you are having a bad time, I can confirm up to today the RSPB have failed to reply to my letter I posted

On the board, normally he has replied by now. I will give it a few more days then a copy goes to the RPRA

And the BHW. further letter will be sent to the head of the RSPB. Then after the elections a copy to my MP

So whatever the RSPB do, they will be dammed if they do and dammed if they don't.

Can we not stop supporting the RPRA by joining other clubs and such like, maybe once the money stops coming in they might sit up and listen to what we have to say,and this goes for the rspca also.No funds no jobs.
