Depends the distance you race... the further you go the more percentage the doo...

 

Alot of average doos can win short races due to excellent management.. so then it would be higher % the fancier..

 

Definitely agree, the sprint races do require excellent birds but the fancier plays a big part in the success, the long the races the more the pigeon.

u have to have class pigeons, a good bird will win in spite of a bad fancier

 

there are very few birds which will win for a bad fancier. bad fanciers tend to win races when the weather is dodgy such as rain en route holding up the leading birds etc. in sprint races tho there is nearly always birds belonging to the top fliers which get through first regardless of the conditions. to answer the question i would agree 50/50 for distance racing but for sprint maybe 60/40 because a good fancier can motivate average birds to win
