Guest Paulo Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 gladdo if you want good pigeons i will give you his number, paulo how long has stobbs flew pigeons mmmm i think this was his third season look how much hes won ive a bad memory so dont beleive me Theres no denying how much he's won theres also no denying that he's a mob flyer mate. Simple fact he sends big numbers look at the stats they don't lie mate he sent 96 last year to the YB National. Now Ray Forbes if you look at the UNC results sends on average 20 birds + a race and features in the result a lot of the time. The UNC is also a far bigger organisation than the WDA which is a fact. With a lot more top men who are legends in such as Martin Ali, B.K. Simpson etc. Also Paul Stobbs is a very successful business man and has a lot of money and a superb setup and doubtless has plenty of help with the birds. Ray Forbes and his son race on their own and are normal working men with all the problems that entails. Its just my personal opinion that if I was buying birds I would choose Ray other than Paul based on his results. Also personally I've got nothing against Paul I know people who have won with his birds and admire his achievements but just bear in mind when you are buying off men you have to look at the bigger picture. My personal view of the bigger picture is:- 1. Ray sends less than Stobbs so he must have high quality birds to win what he does. 2. One man is wealthy and will have no problems with regards to time and money for the birds. On man works and has all the problems that entails. 3. One man flies in a bigger organisation with a higher level of competion. To be fair to Paul through you can only beat whats in front of you though. Its up to Gladdo who he buys off I'm just trying to give the lad a bit of advice.
Roland Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 wellcome to the world of jelousey ;D ;Dserious tho we all think everyone else has advantage but did these flyers move there to gain it no think not Behave Chris, your got brown all around your mouth with spouting crap like that. Only time one is envious is when they can't up house and move to the East etc. Agreed many also don't wish to, or would. But very few indeed are jealous... get a life and put that ole chestnut away. Saying that one has Location / Position is Fact, not jealousy. struth ...
BLACK W F Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 how true you are Roland i know of guys moving to be in better positions to quote one i am moving to win a nat or combine as i have no chance here i know of guys their position is that good they have first drop and overfly and i know some who could not fly a kite on a windy day but moved and are never far from the top most guys stay where they stay because of family or work or both but also the guys in the good positions still have to get the birds that is the reason so many clubs feds combines have split
