T_T Posted May 10, 2008 Report Posted May 10, 2008 5:40am and a lovely start to the morning. Just downing a cup of tea and feeling very excited about seeing this great lib. Funny as it seems as well as excited it's also a bit emotional seeing all our beloved birds given their freedom as they swarm the skies and start their journey home. Will try and get photos. Shame you all can't be here.
REDCHEQHEN Posted May 10, 2008 Author Report Posted May 10, 2008 45,000 birds liberated at 7.30 am Folkestone
frank-123 Posted May 10, 2008 Report Posted May 10, 2008 45,000 must be great to see that lib hope they all have there ybs in the loft in folkstone ;D good luck
T_T Posted May 10, 2008 Report Posted May 10, 2008 WHAT A SIGHT. There was 13 transporters, 46,000 pigeons and strings cut at 7:30. Television camera was there but I think it was a local community channel to the Midlands. Birds cleared in minutes and as usual some pigeons were reluctant to leave the baskets so were helped out. Have got some pics, as soon as I can work out how to download onto here, will post.
