was never questioning that Alex, but when the day is forecast to be hot that is when you want the birds up early as possible as stated in fed book, not sitting waiting till a gate is opened, hope they get a good drink as they will need it today flying in the hottest part of the day  :( :( :(

The RPRA Liberation site booklet says lorries can arrive anytime so don't blame the officials

How can you check this other than sending someone down the week before but even then it can change I know it does not help you get in but that is life full of ups and downs

WHAT ARE YOU ON ABOUT WITH LORRIES ? the transporter was there at 4 am but could not get in the site, and I am blaming the officials, it should have been verified that we could get on as early as was required

lanarkshire are a joke three time's we have not been able to get into a race point

they dont need to send someone to the racepoint just ask some local fancier to check it for you by telephone

Hey tam keep your hair on

Are your birds not on a lorry ! ! ! ! !

The RPRA official liberation site is for pigeon transporters but maybe that is not lorries and can arrive ANYTIME.

You are up too early and GRUMPY go back to bed you might be more approachable when you get up.

But if you dont want information don't post on an open forum

Let me know and I will not reply again?????????????????

THE PROBLEM WAS NOT WITH A LORRY OR A TRANSPORTER , THE PROBLEM WAS NOT GETTING IN,AND IF YOU WANT TO POST INFORMATION ABOUT OUR FED MAKE SURE IT IS RELEVANT OTHER WISE KEEP YOUR NOSE OUT

Have you guys moaning about something thats already done realised that EVERYONE wants to go early and it may be that you get a better race hanging for whats most probably an hour or two later anyway, you aint gonna hold over. Whats the problem with the birds racing home in sunshine in a favourable day anyway.

After all the east winds and hard races, you amaze me.

I think if you read all the posts on this thread daft *expletive removed* you will see that when the site was booked it had 24hr access and then when they arrived this morning the gate was locked and the security guard never arrived till 6.45am.And as Homer has already said the transporter was on uneven ground outside the lib site so once entry had been gained the birds HAVE TO BE WATERED and left for a while to get a drink or do you just want them throwing up???

Instead of blaming all the officials of the fed here maybe the people who proposed these sites at the meeting should have done a wee bit more home work themselves instead of shifting the blame to everyone else when something like this happens!!!

You are breaking the rules (capitals) it appears to me you have a problem

You posted on an open forum you should insert only for Lanarkshire members not for any one else to read or reply

You queried lorries not me

If you are not happy you take the job on to check it instead of mumping on an open forum

Hope you get a good bird might put you in a better mood

Remember no shouting ! ! ! !

I did read them all numpty, AND I KNOW THE BIRDS NEED WATERED GENIUS,  and we know we have the ideal watering system on our transporter , who proposed the sites then ? and is it not the officials job in checking them out when booking them  to make sure we get access, that is nothing to do with anybody that proposed them? and as for blaming somebody when things like this happen , how many times do we have a cock up with site, not as if it is the first time  ?

IS THAT NOT WHERE THINGS ARE DISCUSSED, AN OPEN FORUM

history not my strong point

but nobody is perfect as long as they learn from there mistake's

three race's long town,Lancaster and now Worcester where the transporter could not get in

ingleton the transporter liberated on a hill

if they liberate from cheltenham racecourse they cannot stay on site overnight, so i hope

there is no hold over then the birds will need to move again and when will they get back on site
