I think that it was better racing down the west last year. Than the racing that we have had this year down the east.

Yeah I know mate. Try telling half my fed that.....

cant see it making much diferance to the midlothian fed as normally we have predominately  west winds that would bring you up the middle to east wards

Yeah prob right.... Just want something to change I suppose. Try something. We had to call it a day with two YB races to go last year. Would have been cleaned out. Pray we get it better this time around with the young

I think that the west is to hard for 60% of the fed. If the truth be told.

i take it you want to win against 40% of the fed, dont  know what causes it,  but it has nothing to do with mileage,  so imo it must hold,  more  peregrines, and  if i where a peregrine that's the side of the country i would be   hunting  west winds  attack out of the sun   into  the Irish birds no cover for them

there birds battling against the wind easy meat :'( :'( :o :X ??)

Avoid the west at all cost

Our fed is the worst in the UK for losses

wise words chris from one who lives in the killing zone and cant help but fly that route

the reason for that is possibly  easier to get home from

as other east routes can be a nightmare with  digging up roads.

nope wrong again hal,  old birds down the west lost,  young

birds down the east  remember  L F   changed route  ;) but your right about Jim sending  birds down the east through

north west and a few other pilgrims that  follow with the wind

and  then say they are saltworth  for the L F when you and i know different  ;) the same guys  to use a blow torch on them would not give them a red neck, ;D :-/
