also very wise move goiing with the snfc with lanarkshire going as well might get a bit more of a westerly pull ;)

carnwath cant be too far to ayrshire?

must be murder trying to get your youngbirds to trap from such a short distance

 

could be 50 60 mls to some Frank

its only 43 mile to me  never had a bad race from there gives the young birds a good first race.  and its good seeing the batches going through

Dont see many batches nowadays m8, used to love the 1st youngbird race when there used to be batches spreading as far as the eye could see (even better if you had 1 in the clock b4 it  :))

i did only mean just the carnwath race about the batches

i think the program for this year is very goog should give the birds a good chance

 

since we all have plenty of yearlings left for a change.  looking forward to the start of it.

as soon as jim he is coming up to my house on sat morning to pick up a new system i got for him

 

ill drop them off first thing sat morning at ure bit

with, such a short 1,st race ,and strong tail wind,racing east to west. you could see batches going through the coast jimbhoy all the way to IRELAND

never had a bad race from there and thats with a strong south east wind always 100% returns

aye no problem jim.ur right novice we r starting 2 early

 

I assume the train of thought was to use the first race for a toss.

I will only support it if the temperature and wind are favourable.
