Guest strapper Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 can anybody recomend a good multi vitamin in all the years we have raced the pigeons ive never realy used them jimmy save urself some money go along to a lidl,s food store and look for the section with medications, there u will find some tubes..like the sterident ones ... called vitafit. for humans,..orange tube...multi vitamins, inside will be 20 large dissolvable tabs. i break these into quarters and drop one in the drinkers.they have over 20 diff vits in them. the birds are ok with them and its always drank...orange flavour maybe the reason lol. this is only about 89p..something like that. ive used them for a number of yrs. hope this helps...
ALF Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 I've been using Abidec multivits for new born children for a while now and i think if it's good enough for babies then it's good enough for pigeons

pigeonchested Posted September 30, 2008 Report Posted September 30, 2008 Red Cell is the best vitamin tonic we have used, it is manufactured for horses. We put a tablespoonful in each drinker. Costs about £10 and last a whole season.
