Worse were Vandenabeeles purchased from the Europa One loft race and bred by the so-called best in the land.  The best percentage wise were a pair purchased at the same sale from the Kuwaiti entrants, bred winners in nearly every nest and won a fortune cash wise. I named them PETROL and DIESEL. No pedigrees but I believe they were Ganus pigeons.

Hi Andy - Was this in 2004 ? if so i brought the same as you a couple of M&D Gabys and 2 Kuwait birds and had the opposite result Kuwait were rubbish and M&D ones have been very good. strange how things work out some times

Because I'm in the town where the legends kicked off, it has to be Busschaerts.  They are still winning well here.  I bought in some Kavanagh Busschaerts  from Ken off this forum and I only wish I could get more but I think there few and far between around the country.  Anybody know of anyone with them.?

Van Reets disappointed me, only ever had one cock any good.

my father went to Bert hessions sale in 1992 and every van reet bred winner after winner. And then he crossed them with Arther beardsmores busschaerts/staff van reets and did even better. worst ever pigeons was from one of the well know sellers of jos thones in the uk
