Using bodybuilding products for pigeons

Try and get a body builder to do a marathon - not. It's all show and no action I'm afraid. Yer doos will do better on a good balanced, nutritious diet and plenty natural excersise. We will never improve on nature, only cause problems for the birds and they have enough of those to contend with at the moment. Get to know your birds and don't try any shortcuts I think.

I have used body building protein on pigeons for showing and raceing with good rsult

but when given protein to raceing pigeons you will have to work them hard to be of any use

also give them VIT B12

you would imagine a company like vydex would know all this and done its research and know exactly what the right dosage is per what a bird drinks  im sure they have done the scientific research  and what the right amounts are  :-/

using CARBASOL  your birds will get cramp if worked properly.I used it for two seasons but stoped and used another product but VYDEX dont tell you this,but when used good results.

Well all i can say thats what it did to my birds and i did speak to JOHN at VYDEX about the birds cramping up but never got to the bottom of it :-/.

well yeah i suppose if giving this stuff everyone will try anything to improve the birds however you will also have to put them on the weights aswell !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 ah ha ha ha .... mikey ... really looking forward to 2010 !!!!! wish everyone and their birds a safe and happy 2010 ... mikey...

Creative wont work for pigeons as it has a far too high GI.  Goes through them like sh** through a sieve and causes kidney damage at the same time.  Stay away at all costs.

We tried creatine one year with the young birds a few years back and we had a great young bird season, the following year we never used it and had an even better season? :-/

I think people are too quick to think a product was responsible for better results when it might have had nothing to do with it.

Phoned vydex co today and said they had never heard of this  before and it is desighned to stop cramp  by blocking lactic acid build up .

 

I wuld think they would know best on this one .
