cemetary Posted July 31, 2009 Report Posted July 31, 2009 2 out ma 4 from eastbourne this year are from a pair of jan ardens, bred a winner last week for Alan Ritchie out of them, which is entered into the Joe Murphy Challenge this year, so am happy with them, i bought them at the last Edinburgh Charity sale. :)
Guest Hjaltland Posted July 31, 2009 Report Posted July 31, 2009 should maybe ask bob mcdonald he was the first to bring them over from HOLLAND in the 60s dirrect from K O NIPIUS Some of those Ko Nip Jan Aardens are flying into the Shetland Islands and are remarkable.

Guest shadow Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 good pigeons tend to be slightly slower in maturing and showing their true potential :)
Tumley Lofts Stud Posted August 9, 2009 Report Posted August 9, 2009 Andy Wilson featured in BHW many times just recently had 11 of 22 home (in club I think!) plus has done well in many national races. Just by chance, he has our Aardens! :-)
Guest shay Posted August 9, 2009 Report Posted August 9, 2009 av got ah jan arden hen she was sent to bourges 5 times 580 to me she won it 4 times and was second once she is ten years old now and has just filled her 1st egg off the year
paddymac Posted August 9, 2009 Report Posted August 9, 2009 They all seem to have a great constitution about them. Some were still filling eggs at 12-14 years old.
