YOU WILL BE LUCKY BEEN LOOKING FOR THEM FOR YEARS IF YOU FIND ANY GOOD ONES GIVE ME A SHOUT THERE ARE A LOT IN USA BUT THE GUY ONLY SHOWS THEM

A guy in our club hosted a Gurnay futurity last year I am sure he has access

these were probably 1st or 2nd gen birds will see if he knows any european breeders

there is a bloke up near richmond in yorkshire had some maybe some of the yokshire fanciers may know him used to advertise in the homing world :)

syd collins chairman of the INFC from ballyclare use to have them,he also brought them in from the states.

IN  RICHMOND YORKS. IM SURE THE LOFTS WERE CALLED GURNAYS END BUT I CANT REMEMBER THE FANCIERS NAME HOPE THIS HELPS :) :) :)

Think the Guy you are  talking about flew under the name Stalker & daughter, if it is he unfortunatley died a few years back.

you could try looking back to around 1990 squills&bhw year books as he advertised in there, might give you a lead as to where to try next, i will ask my old dad tonight as he had been down at the Stalker lofts around then and was friendly with the family, i was just a nipper then(lol) a few bad young bird seasons around then plus a change of loft location kinda put paid to the gurnays we had, looking back they never really got a good crack at it.

we tried these years back, got some from a graham mussel in hereford, beatifull blacks and bronzes but never any good, my dad raced these in the sixties, surely long gone now

IN days past Arthur & Mary Mellor of Cheshire raced a good Gurney but don't know where their birds went maybe some of the local Cheshire fanciers would know

Philip Martin Has just joined the society , he only has 2or three Gurnays bred down from Bazil Beebe birds  he tried to sell them to me last your £90 apeace  now he has heard about the yanks he is a Gurnay man again

the gurnays in richmond holiday caravan park are that of harris and bradley 'gurnays ende'  ;) i have just found there number :)
