can anyone recommend a good microscope for testing droppings /swabs their seem to be plenty on eBay but hard to know which would do the job...........thank you

have been told lidl do a great one with an lcd screen for around £90.00

lidl sell this one for around £90 , its the one i got and can see on the built in screen and transfer pics to a pc

it would be to an avian vet I would think - as there would be bacteria from a swab that could be cultured

 

to get a definitive diagnosis in human respiratory disease - you need to give a sputum sample  (puke)  so same thing I think

Lidl have one in just now that plugs into your computer via the USB port fo £39.99

Aldi are doing one at the moment for 39quid it looks good and has the cable to connect to PC.
