allenyeates
What do members consider to be the best pigeon dip available for lasting results on all lice etc? Personally I used to dilute Duramitex and put it in plant sprayer. 2 sprays under each wing kept them lice free all season. Have not tried new Duramitex but am looking for a good alternative in dip form, any help appreciated. Thanks

kirky
Chlorocarb yes i think this is the best and when you have used it as a dip you can store it in a container and use it in a spray rest of season around the loft.

Skull Lofts
This is what i use Pulvex Pour On Large dogs 30ml, to 10L water. Its composition is: Chlorpyrifos and Permethrin. U can even put drops undiluted on your bird, i do this once a year and there are no lice or flies to be seen! Skull

Bugsy
Found the modern duramitex to be poor, have used Chlorcarb for years and very effective but the best product I ever used was called Ectophen, absolutely brilliant and then it was taken off the market. They brought out a newer version after but it was never as good as the original. Wish I could get it now !!!!!!!!

Thanks Chloracarb is the best dip you can use for your pigeons available in different sized packets Chloracarb can be purchased from many places boddy and ridewood springs to mind Also i would like to say duramitex is still available to buy and this is brilliant for putting in a spray bottle and spraying inside the pigeons nest boxes.
