yes it is but keep it away from nest boxes with y b in them as it will kill em stone dead

I used it last season under pan's and stuff with youngsters around .had no issues.

I must of been running the gauntlet ?

i have put the drops in the nest box and killed the babies so dont use it now ,  i use ivermectin 2 times a year now ,  and job done ,

 

i got it at my pigeon stockists up here ,  does boddy and ridewood or taylors choice not do it

if you can still get a hold of some duramitex buy it,use it as a dip or mix it in a hand sray bottle as i do .spray birds kills all lice,but most of all internal quill mite witch most people dont know are there dont think its on market anymore.you might find old stock at your stockist.i used it this year birds will stay clean all year.if some left over spray boxes and perches

weve all triied chlorcarb in ayrshire ,ian hamilton from killwinning asked my mate how to get rid of quill mite,as he had tried all cures .but the duramitex was the soloution  my mate joe used it for years when he raced and cleaned up in club for years,could,nt liv with him

Duramitex was taken off the market and has been reintroduced with a different formula, its not as effective!

duramitex contained Malathion as did many garden pesticides.

I think all products with this compound were removed from the market but not sure.
