WHAT TO PUT IN YOUNGSTERS WATER ?

nothing

I agree. My youngsters don't get anything in their drinking water at least for their first couple of months or so, just as their parents don't get anything in their water when they are still feeding them.

I reckon that there is too much happening between parents and the youngster, and in the youngster itself, to do with building the immune system, and I don't wan't to interfere with that.

Certainly by race day they are on cider vinegar + honey when they come home from the race,  changed for garlic later the same day.
