Willy Jacob pigeons

I purchased 2 birds bred by Ernie Goodyear at the Europa Classic. I have just come off the phone to Ernie and he said the birds were from direct Willy Jacobs. He is away for a week before he can send me some paperwork for the birds.

 

The pigeons themselves were outstading:-

 

24282 - 86th Open, 250 miles, 754 birds. 9th Hotspot, 100 miles, 1020 birds. 48th Hotspot, 160 miles, 815 birds. 69th Hotspot, 60 miles, 1104 birds. Finished 34th in the Ace Bird standing. 4 times in the top 100 out of 6 races!

 

24286 - 6th Hotspot, 60 miles, 1104 birds, 22nd Hotspot, 100 miles, 1020 birds, (was 1st Ace bird after 1st 2 races), 15th Hotspot, 160 miles, 815 birds. 3 times in the top 22 from 6 races -outstanding!

 

Two truly remarkable performers throughout the Europa Classic!

 

Any information on Willy Jacobs would be gratefully received.

Cheers all I have some interesting reading to do! These two are going to be paired to the two on the homepage of my website.....the youngsters should be dynamite! I am going to enter the youngsters back into the Europa and I have a feeling they are going to take some considerable stopping!

spoke to Gerald earlier this week and he was telling me he may bring some of the directs to blackpool this coming year, anybody going to the Dublin show will be able to see the quality of these birds for themselves.

i met gerald last year at the dublin show and as my buddy karl told me a gent spent alot of time at his stall and i dont think id be wrong in saying he is the no1 loft outside willys with them absalute class and he wont sell you anything he would not keep himself....

Walter Docx have some Willy Jacobs in them as well as houbens, Janssens etc. I doubt the Willy Jacobs have Wim Moens in them unless they're a more recent introduction. Jimmy Bamling on here has some good Jacobs

great birds the jacobs got a cracking hen last year at the dublin show from gerald nest mate to the bird that won the nat for malikey

muguire and some great racers from jimmy bambiling on here they scored very well in the fed  and club jimmy knows how to bread

I would say the Man with the Best Willy Jacobs Is without doubt Gerald Delaney from Dromore Ireland he held the fanchise for 4-5 year any birds what Willy had available came to Gerald he has a lot of Direct Pairs from Willy in his Stud

I have some very good pairs of Directs i was lucky the ones i have came before Gerald had the fanchise

,the ones i have dont contain any Wim moens (Least not what i know of)

they are just built up from good pigeons from willys area nothing fancy i think they have a bit Flor Engle in them !!

they are very good from 60-200 miles and like any kind of day but they are a very fast bird which can get in front of the opposition

as Alex (Thunder Birds) has already said Walter Docx has these in his birds as does quite a few lofts in Belguim
