Guest shadow Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 been there done that will not be going again far too crowded for my liking needs a bigger venue to make the aisles wider
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted November 29, 2008 Report Posted November 29, 2008 been there done that will not be going again far too crowded for my liking needs a bigger venue to make the aisles wider agree with you in the fact that some of the halls are very overcrowded especially upstairs where the fancy pigeons are on show but it is brilliant to see so many different breeds on display
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted November 29, 2008 Report Posted November 29, 2008 Its ten times less crowded than it used to be there you would queue for ages to get in and once in would take you ages to get anywhere was much better to go in the afternoon when it was a bit quieter think the show has gone down hill over the years only thing that seems to have gone up is the amount of birds being sold Seems shame where they stuck the fancy birds doesnt give very good lighting to look at them properly Think it will be even less well supported this year with the show in dortmund lot i know would rather go there got bored with the same old thing at blackpool over the years Dortmund is this weekend so it is still quite a while to go to the Blackpool show so maybe it will not affect Blackpool too much if at all
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted November 29, 2008 Report Posted November 29, 2008 Well unless they have changed the dates i think you will find the Olympiade is on the 16-18th January sorry , we are talking about 2 different shows, there is one this weekend with thousands of birds on show
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted November 29, 2008 Report Posted November 29, 2008 Is that in dortmund as well tammy not seen that advertised is it just show birds yes it is also in dortmund rose thats where the mix up was, it is for every type of bird
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted November 29, 2008 Report Posted November 29, 2008 Is that in dortmund as well tammy not seen that advertised is it just show birds have to correct myself rose, it is just for fancy and show racer pigeons with over 20,000 on show
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted November 29, 2008 Report Posted November 29, 2008 Sounds like a good show to go to does many from over here go over to show their birds I know there are a lot away from Ireland to show them but thats about all I know as to who is actually showing at it
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted November 29, 2008 Report Posted November 29, 2008 Do they do any shows over here that attracts that amount of birds do not think there is any in the uk that even comes anywhere near that, it is by far the biggest one I have heard of
Guest Posted November 29, 2008 Report Posted November 29, 2008 can you please get aff my thread lol,(evil)(evil) off topic lol
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted November 29, 2008 Report Posted November 29, 2008 Its shame isnt it we seem to get left behind when it comes to what other countrys manage to get organised Yes it is a shame, even Blackpool with all its birds on show does not even come close to it
