i might be wrong but these are your own birds are they not and you would be rearing traing and racing them anyway the £5 a ring is for prize money as stated so sounds like people are now going to be paying you to race your own birds

Maybe so Racer, but Jason is rearing extra birds to allow members take part, so extra costs incurred

its only 28 y/bs i normally only rear 20-30 y/bs so i would have them raced for free

i normally breed 30 ybs last yr i bred around 50

this yr ill be breeding around 75 / 80 there are 65 of them in the challenge but if anyones ybs should be lost before they hit the training basket ill nomate 1 of the 15 spare ybs to the member that has lost 1 so everyone at least can get to the first race

thankyou jason

hi jason i am not getting at you personaly m8 it just seem that if you recieve your extra £5 that will give you £160 toward feeding training

and racing which would of been done anyway and will also help in club results aswell

Those that are in it are prepared to pay Jason, so there is no problem mate.

I would like to see anyone breed, feed, train, medicate and race an extra 35 to 40 youngsters, over and above what you would normally breed, for £160 a season, assuming the sums are correct. I tell you now I couldn't do it

I actually do put hession back carpet in my baskets. Pile downwards of course.

It is, I find, the best covering there is. Sure put a little shavings / straw / litter paper whatever as you so wish.

I have stacks of rems and have done so now for quite a few years.

It is good!
