BANDIT Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 THE SHOW HAS IMPROVED SINCE THE LAST TIME I WAS THERE 2 YEARS AGO,A COUPLE OF EXTRA STALLS AND 1 OR 2 THATS USUALLY THERE WERE MISSING, HAD A NICE BREAKFAST AND MET A FEW OLD FRIENDS AND MADE SOME NEW ONES,RETIRED BACK TO THE GOBLET PUB AND A GREAT NIGHT TILL THE EARLY HOURS. ONLY ONE NEGATIVE THING ABOUT THE SHOW AND THAT WAS THE PRICES AND NO REAL SHOW SPECIALS,ILL BE GOING BACK TO KASSEL IN GERMANY NEXT YEAR AS THE BARGINS YOU PICK UP WILL WELL PAY FOR YOUR TRIP.
micko and jack Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 Chairde (Irish) friends well yesterday finished the Dublin show and those of us lucky to be there we had a great time i couldnt believe you could get so many ugly men under one roof and that was only the guys from this site haha there were loads of pigeons stalls and people bigger than last year and gangster said the quailty of the pigeons was far better this year so heres the photos of both homers and fancy breeds

gangster Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 the show has improved on last year and the standard of birds both in the show and for sale has deffo improved, they are hoping to make it a 2 day show and it is attanable if supported by more product companies, pigeon studs .and people wanting to sell birds, because ireland has a big market conrolled by a few and with more providers it can benifit the irish flyers with a bit of competition price wise....id like 2 point out this was shown by CORN STORE who sold a good corn that was well priced and sold out...mick

ALL IN ALL A GOOD TURNOUT AND WELL SUPPORTED JUST THE PRICES ARE TO HIGH

Shortcut Lofts Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 Nice to finally meet some guys of here, Gangster, Bird man of Meath and Micko again. Unbeknown to you Micko you have photographed a couple of my birds lol. The show is first class, well laid out etc. Shortcut Lofts won in the Eyesign , 1st 3rd and 4th from 3 birds entered in the class. We also won the channel cocks and took 5 cards from 7 in the young hens. Total 15 cards overall - not bad! I have to thenk Micko for the DVD just watched it, many thanks. Eamon
