Cables on e-bay were wired 1-1 2-2 3-3 and so on they will NOT work if fitted to pads and base unit

received my new 10meter cable today through the post, total cost £7.77 AND IT FITS

I would always be afraid of using a different cable that the one made for the job,if its going to play up it will be when you have a good pigeon guaranteed.

to be honest I don,t know, plan on trying it out this weekend, will let you know worth a try, I know a guy near me that got one the very same from a computer shop, and has been using it for the last 2 seasons :-/ however, if it does not work, I will bin it

If the  cable you got would be a rs323/db9 , it will work

Ok folks, curiosity got the better of me, so I went out to the loft tonight and set up my system with this new lead, scanned 10 separate rings, several times each, and every time they registered, so, all I can say, is it works, which is the only thing you can say about any lead, irrespective of the cost :-/ so take from this what you want folks if anyone wants the contact for this company, I will happily pass it onto them

If the  cable you got would be a rs323/db9 , it will work

Ok folks, curiosity got the better of me, so I went out to the loft tonight and set up my system with this new lead, scanned 10 separate rings, several times each, and every time they registered, so, all I can say, is it works, which is the only thing you can say about any lead, irrespective of the cost :-/ so take from this what you want folks if anyone wants the contact for this company, I will happily pass it onto them

 

have a look around and see if you can find me a pad to go with the cable ;) ;)
