A New Site For Reporting Found Birds?

I came across a site for 'non-fanciers' possibly, to report lost pigeons

It doesn't look as if it actually informs the owners........... but I could be wrong

 

Anyway - one has been reported recently at Boulby near Staithes

Found with beak stuck with solid mud. Exhausted but alive. Given water and crushed special k cornflakes. Found at ICL BOULBY MINE N.E. COAST nr Staithes

If you get folks reporting birds on this site and it doesnt inform the owners or the unions, then it may put us in a bad light if the Public get no response about the bird. I personally dont see the point in it unless the owners are being contacted
