What Is The Reason

Any ideas why the feathers on the bars of this cock moulted funny , he didn't go out from mid September was in the loft no treatment given during the moult he moulted from yearling to a two year old with these feathers just around the bars area

Yes he is a good pigeon had two wins this year

Just wondered why one pigeon moulted different to the other 15 cocks , rather avoid it happening again

I think it has been a strange year altogether, youngsters on the dark and loads have cast flights - some down to 4 & 5, and even some of the old birds are down to 6 - yet others still have a full wing

My youngsters moulted there primary flight quicker this year they are non darkness but I noticed the 2 nd round are chucking a fair number
