REDCHEQHEN Posted December 28, 2018 Report Posted December 28, 2018 Just before Christmas we went over to Middleton in Teesdale and picked up 800 doses of vaccine for the club to have all old birds vaccinated. After last years fiasco - we now drive to make sure the vaccine is within date and correctly transported I take bubble wrap - an insulated bag and pre frozen ice packs to ensure the vaccine is stored at a correct temperature until the vaccine is refrigerated when I get home Disappointingly I have found that there are very few organisations that post out vaccines in the correct conditions (to maintain a temperature of 2 - 8°C as stated on the instructions)
