thanks bruno. where am still at a bit loss the birds spend less time in the air how will this burn them out

bruno not having a go. i was just asking to all in general. being new to the sport i would like to know why people say not to train in the cold. i have 16 spare late breeds form last year i did not want to get rid of them (cull). but i was unable get them in the basket. but they fly around the house for a hour twice a day. a month ago i took them 15 miles away and let them go. took them a couple or hours the first day 30 mins the second and now it takes them on average 15-20 mins. so now instead of flying for 2 hours a day they only fly 1 hour an 20 mins. ive not lost none as yet. am i doing wrong ? would you call a 15 mile toss training?

why is it wrong to train in the cold

done the above this year no hassle at all no broken egg but if i did or have a clear egg i would always put a pot egg in, i had a cock last year than would sit to tight and crush them. this year i let him sit his 2 eggs and a pot egg. two youngsters in the young bird shed this year

murry & mills sell an Injury Hammock which i think is for this sort of thing not sure, but it might help

pigeonscout and invincible_spirit its is perfectly LEGAL to shoot a racing pigeon that has gone FERAL and how would you see a ring on a pigeon flying in the SKY

i was a keen hunter and have shoot lots of pigeons including the occasional racing pigeons, which is quite legal to do so aslong as its gone feral. thats is the tricky point. how do you tell if a racing pigeon has become feral. if the birds is sitting on your roof and someone shoots it then theres no reason why they should not be shot them selfs. (vic want on loan of a gun )

you can buy usb extention 1m leads at poundland and link them up but i know there a limit to where you can go to before the power loss is to great

all of them but i work 20 miles away from home on the line of flight. picked up outside my house in a bit van with plenty of room for the birds

personaly am not in it for prize money just love the buzz. but would this make a difference to you.
