  1. if you know the person who your getting the y/bs from ask him what they have been getting fed and try and feed the same for a few days then reduce his feed and increase your type of feed slowly over about a week it helps them as changing a feed straight away in a new enviroment can knock them back a bit

    if everone raced their youngbirds on rubbers for a year thats them with virtually nothing coming in moneywise for a year i raced my y/bs this year on rubbers and saved myself about £40 on the rings of lost y/bs if everyone did this you would soon see the prices drop

    a capfull in a gallon and a half of water for drinking every few weeks on a sunday then multivits for the next 3 days some also do the same with virkon s
  19. your correct i was just wondering if it would depend on what program you flew a lot of short races or a few streching out
  20. ive seen it but he says if you race them the whole program like that you can forget them as yearlings he advised any you wanted to keep for the future stop after a few races
  21. DID THIS 2 YEARS AGO AND THE Y/BS MOSTLY HELD FROM 3 TO 5 FLIGHTS TILL AFTER THE Y/BN AT THE START OF SEPTEMBER SOME DID HAVE TO BE STOPPED A COUPLE OF WEEKS BEFORE THIS THOUGH THEY WERE HATCHED IN THE FIRST COUPLE OF WEEKS IN JANUARY ANY LATER BRED ONES DIDNT LAST AS LONG ON THE FLIGHTS
