do this and imo you will lose the majority of snfc fanciers thus costing far more to send over the water less membership money and the loss off the profit made at the inland races remember the longest inland race is around 500 miles to some of the longest flyers more if the wick/thurso lads send these guys are flying further inland than a lot flying out af falaise/ypres etc etc

your burying the fancier without knowing the facts i also dont know any of the facts but was only trying to look to the fact that he may actually be telling the truth who knows he may or may not have made an effort to get his bird back but we are wrong to condem him and taking it for granted that he didnt

owen read the last post the owner phoned saying he went for the bird but had trouble, possibly with his car. if he only had vickies phone number at home, he would of had to wait untill he returned there before being able to contact her. with him phoning it doesnt sound to me as he was trying to avoid collecting his bird just circumstances were against him welldone on looking after the bird and taking the time to find out who the owner was, it is appreciated by most fanciers, who are well pleased to get lost birds home thanks again dave

i had 4 at cheltenham which we all know was a washout 2 of my birds made it home the next day in the afternoon but both under 400 ypm the 1st one only by a couple of yards my other 2 returned in the next few days ok they didnt make the snfc result but missed out on fed positions and club ones which i was dissapointed in after the effort they put in

whats racism got to do with it uk is a group of countrys all individual just like europe is a group of countrys which the uk countrys are members of they dont seem to have a problem with say germany not supporting france likewise why in that case should england not support wales againt scotland ( plenty do) ps- you dont see many englishmen supporting germany is that racism ( i dont think so ) so at the end of the day were all in europe so can support any european country against any other one there are no rules to say otherwise im scottish and brittish and european but my country is scotland i just happen to be through no choice of mine a member of the other 2

would prob work if the national sorted out their libline charges but it does take a bit of the antisipation out of it a lot of fanciers prefor waiting till you get to the marking station to see how you have got on just like you do in club racing also not all fanciers have acess to phones at their lofts/ plots etc

is it the pocket clock or the base station thats not working if the base then just take the pocket clock to another fanciers system and swipe the bird across his pad if the pocket clock then the base will still record the arrival time as it does when your at your club with the pocket clock just dont know if you can retrieve the info even if its recorded under trainer mode just a thought but will your club not have all the pocket clocks details of birds etc on computor and if connected to base may be able to retrieve info or download onto another pocket clock so that details of time etc can be retrieved ???????
