Well The Race is finished for today. We flew 169 miles Had strong NW winds which gave several people bad returns We only had 19 in the clock but had 44 of the 56 sent back when I checked last. Linda Had another 5th place bird #2663 there were 605 birds shipped just from our club and most likely a total of 1200 plus on the truck. WE let urs out at 8am from Reynoldsburg, OH 169 miles for us

Just feed a bit more iron and put a big magnet in the loft :-)

Every bird in the loft and shown on the site will be going. plus a couple auction birds I have 61 birds total I think unless more came in today that were MIA :-)

I agree that the flares do effect the birds, I think that is when the Aliens race thru our skys and net the birds :-) But I have found A high K Factor brings more losses or at leat longer return times

Ya it really hurts when I send 50 birds and the one guy ships 6 and the best I do is 7th, he should have only clocked 3 so I could say I was 4th :-)

If you join our club and have never had birds,we bring in the Club loner loft for the 1st year. It is on wheels and can be hauled with ease, it is 7x12 with 2 sections

2677 was first to clock again from todays training toss. We may mix them with other birds tomorrow and see if they break away.

You may be able to get some from the Septic plant or just take the cover lid off a sewer manhole. there should be lots of gum there

Hi All Yes I have lost several about 40 on one toss. One of our old time flyers lost his whole YB team from 15 miles last week, 60 birds. Just today a giy came to the club and was out 27 of 44 from his toss this morning. I am having PC problems ,but I just ordered a new one so in a week I should be back and Chatting, Have a Good One
