  1. Hi Albear The ORIGINAL post from beanz was what I was replying to and the indication that conventional clocks may be phased out, how will this reduce the price of clocks?? This is what the ETS manufacturers would like then they have the market to themselves. As for profits you seem to have more knowledge of this than me I NEVER mentioned profits Why mention M&D Evans you seem to have a problem about certain people / Companys making a profit. I am sure if you were in there position you would sell the birds for £20 / £30.and the band played believe it if you like ! ! ! ! We all know market forces and advertising dictate the price of the goods. The manager of the RPRA is fighting a lossing battle on his own against an almighty force (and doing a good job in my opinion) How many letters of support have you sent to the RPRA or DEFRA. I will guess. (none) Thanks Ian
  2. Pigeonscout Where are you comming from. The post was where can I get this book. Your posts are not answering that if you want to Querie Colin Walkers results start another post. Ian
  3. Paul1 I have already told you you will get it from the Racing Pigeon weekly magazine. It is advertised every week Ian
  4. Another Birthday and only 42 what's happened to the old guys.Maybe this is just a myth there are no young guy's in the sport Happy Birthday DRIES
  5. Not bad flier but a good vet for pigeons
  6. Look in the Racing Pigeon weekly it is advertised every week. In stock and fast delivery.
  7. I think it would inadvisable for any Union to make Manual clocks obsolete. The idea of ETS is to make things simpler for those that want it. NOT so ALL other clocks are made obsolete. If this was discussed it is WRONG without giving the members / Deligates some sort of advanced warning. Wonder what other clock manufacturers make of this.
  8. To Slatey 36, Wayne 25,and Rob 30. Happy Birthday lads have a nice day. I thought the Sport of racing pigeons was dying. No new members. No young people comming into the sport. Well these three prove that to be untrue. Keep it up lads glad to see some young talent out there. 36,25,30 I only wish as some of you do to. Cheers Ian

    Loft Webcams

Installing a Web Cam in Lerwick is like throwing a pig into a lions Den lol You afraid I come and pinch that eggs lol Better ask the BBC for advice they know all about the conditions up there. Poor Web Cam ! ! ! Cheers Kenny Ian
  10. Hi Fifer you are right nobody ever gets asked how we wish to vote. The letters go out to the SHU deligate they go and vote. I would doubt if the deligate has time to inform the Fed secretary and President to call a meeting. But up untill now this is how it was done so if nothing else this has brought to our attention NOW it is up to us to set out how to deal with it.
  11. Hi Sean Do not give up let the dust settle stay away from them for now. Fly your birds and try another club. If you can get some wins SUCCESS IS SWEET All the best for 2007 go beat them ! ! ! Ian
  12. Hi Redfox if this is one of your YBs and it managed to get to Lanarkshire you better get it back fast. Thats 350 / 375 in the middle of winter and it is in good nick.
  13. Hi Bruno Now that is fair but has NO chance of being adopted YET Ian
  14. Hi Roland NOW this will spark the ETS debate. Could get a Pad set close to the race point lol Now calm down this is meant to be a joke ! ! Interesting post but I like it. Ian

  16. I have no interest in Querying or replacing our officially elected deligate he is representing our Fed so must thank him for that and doing a good job. How many of these deligates are or have consulted there members or even the President of there Federation to ask which way to vote.??? I have been unfortunate enought to have had the opportunity of seeing how they work and there system of fairness. I hope you never have that opportunity.
  17. Defra Official didn't we do well??????

  21. Now England is going to accept ETS some software company will invest in the technology the market is now a lot bigger. To my knowledge there is no software available by a UK software company. But this I hope will change. I know there is a programme available in the US but have failed to get my hands on it . I hope to go to US in April / May so will be looking then. If any member knows of the programme will you send me a PM please.
  22. Hi Roland For someone who is neither for nor agains you post a lot of negatives !!!!!!!
  23. Roland the RPRA have consulted their Lawyers and were told they have to comply. Dave Allen my well have taken the RPRA to court this would not be difficult but you try taking the Goverment to court Quite a different thing. But hey we will see how far you or others go. If you win I will be the first to appologize and the RPRA will also be pleased the members will get off there backs and can have a vote. Cheers Ian
  24. Hi Pompey I too am looking for a programme compatible with ETS. I have drawn a blank. I have tried various software manufacturers but failed to get a system that will do what you want.We use Unikon but the software only gives you a time NO velocity. We then feed this into a race programme to sort out the result No velocity No pools No points No compatibility
