Unable to locate pigeon feed
Ian McKay replied to Iqbal's topic in Novices, Beginners & Young Fanciers
Hi Iqbal Try phoning Cranswick ie Bucktons 01377-200-800 and ask for the nearest distributor. this will give you a start as most agents stock more than one type of pigeon food. Cheers Ian -
Hi Fifer I am not trying to say Fife Fed are right or wrong. I am replying to Jade who indicated the Aberdeen Fed had followed this policy. This is how my Federation handled it. This is the situation for 2007. Cheers Ian

At the AGM of the Aberdeen Federation in Dec 2005 we had six proposals to radically change the way we charge the membership for fees and birdage. Of the six two were dismissed as the proposer/seconder were not present(SHU rules and confirmed in writing) The four left were voted on No one V No two the winner then went against No three, the winner of this then went against No four we ended up with a winning proposal this was taken against Status Quo with the proposal winning the vote for the Federation Fee to be £115 all birds entered in a Federation races are included within this Federation Fee.I personally was against this method as I felt it penalised the old and younger fliers who keep small teams. This was fully explained at the meeting but the majority were in favour of this type of change. I was convinced it would cost us 12-15 members. The following year when all members had paid their fees we had one more member than the year before. This bucked the trend of falling membership. At my own club we had a meeting to pay our dues and was shocked to see almost every member in attendance waiting to pay in full. As for our treasurer she was pleased how easily it was to collect Federation fees all at once, this of course helped the bank balance. The AGM in 2006 again continued this system. So I take from this the majority of our members are happy with the one fee system. PATITION TO THE WEBMASTER
Ian McKay replied to ACE LOFTS's topic in Website News, Views & Computer Related Info
I think you are wasting your time. I sent a message to the Wedmaster asking a question about PMs and got no reply. I have NOT been back posting since and do not intend to do so untill he/ she replies . There is something fishy going on when you get a reply from someone other than the person you send the PM to????????????????????????????????????????????? Cheers Ian -

Ask CLOCKMAN for advise he and his team gave half show half racers to win first at Aberdeen two years ago Yes all but one class ???????????????????????????? Cheers Ian
-
Hi Bart Look at the ones giving you sensible advice and you won't go wrong Please remember it is only fun to keep the fancy going through the winter. But if you are willing to take it home it is the right pigeon in your eyes and the owners only. Good Luck you might need it and stay well away from TAMMY if he does not win or get a card. Cheers Ian
