Hi Nic Ace loft means 6 birds will not last if you race them I think. We have a lot of losses. But if you are just going to keep as a hobby for starters they will keep you going. I have seen a lot of damage done by guy's who just kept 8 birds. The style and size is up to you birds will be happy in an orange box does not have to be fancy must be DRY. But I will guarantee it (the loft) will grow. Welcome to the forum
