This may not be the right post place but I sent three consignments out with Amtrak 25/04/07 only one has replied JASON thanks for the acknowledgement of confirmation of delivery.I have also asked for a pick up from Grantham will have to wait till tomorrow (Friday) to find out. But have to admit I have found them to be efficient.

Hi Alan As I see it there was nothing to discuss as we had not received any applications but now Linda has made one, we I am sure will get the opportunity to discuss it. As to the rules Richard set out, we were sent them for our comments and I and some others voted on each and every one.These rules were very basic and did not contain a lot of restrictions. I would doubt if anyone would stick rigidly to them surely each and every application should be judged on it's merits. it must be made clear if you know of someone who has suffered this type of horrendous event an application has to be made out, Do not wait for someone else as in this case everyone thought everyone else was doing it, this is quite common in pigeon circles. I am sure the committee which I believe I am one. will get to know each other quite well, I look forward to speaking with them all. at present I have not met any of them so I presume Richard had a reason for each selection. I know I was pleased to accept this job and hope to give pleasure to a lot of unfortunate members I think that,s what this fund was set out for so lets hope we can get to work quite soon. Hi Mac1 No need to appologise. I am only giving some facts to all members. It is frustrating to read the posts when I know nobody has made a request and there were more than you complaining. As Tammy said there are others that may need help but I do not know any of them, the members that know the facts MUST take the time to make a request.It could be that more than one request is for the same person but that does not matter it's better than no request. Mac1 Thanks for the late reply . Now lets look at what you were told last FEBRUARY. You were told to put it in writing to the web master I cannot make it simpler than that. As I have said as far as I know there were no applications until Linda submitted one after my PMs. Four months and nobody bothered to apply don't blame us we need requests. Hi Guy's I do not know Richards address but I will try and find out But it is commonsense to me seeing as the requests are from forum members to e-mail or Pm the webmaster with all the information.The fund was not set up to help any particular member. Cheers Ian
